SUMMARY:Icon retreat at St Columba's House
DESCRIPTION:October 30\, 2026 @ 4:30 pm – November 1\, 2026 @ 1:45 pm\nContemporary Icon Residential Workshop with Renowned Artist Sophie Hacker\nMaybury Hill\, Woking\, GU22 8AB\n\n\n\n\nA two-day ‘contemporary Icon workshop’. Includes accommodation and meals. \n\nWe begin by exploring the tradition of icon “writing” and how icons serve as windows onto eternity. Participants are invited to bring a personal or global concern to offer to God. In the second part of our time together\, each person will explore their concern and develop a visual language to express it through their own icon. Icons may be completed during the workshop or finished later and participants may choose to have their work exhibited in the House until mid-December. All materials included. \nN.B: This is a residential only workshop and includes all meals for the duration\, plus complementary tea and coffee. Guest numbers are extremely limited for this workshop. \nLed by: Sophie Hacker
