APR Autumn Retreat at Holy Rood House

The APR autumn retreat will be held at Holy Rood House in Thirsk (N Yorks) from 20-22 October. It will be led by Revd Cameron Butland, and is entitled, ‘Walking into Spirituality’, based on the theme of his forthcoming book. He will be reflecting on the encounters with God that are experienced in our life journeys.

Cameron writes, ‘Beginning with the stories of Jesus  in the Gospels, together with the experience of Christians such as St Helena, St Cuthbert, St Francis, George Fox, John Wesley and contemporary teachers, we will explore the way in which we can come to discern the Holy Spirit in thin places and in the people we meet.’

The retreat will cost £350 per person (for APR members and for all bookings made before 1st May). Overnight accommodation is in single or twin rooms, many of which are en-suite; these will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
