Centring Prayer retreat at the House of Prayer

Intensive Retreats are an opportunity to immerse oneself fully in the method and background of Centering Prayer as taught by Contemplative Outreach.  There will be up to three hours of Centering Prayer each day, and the time outside meetings is in silence. There will be time for personal reflection, contemplative liturgy and Lectio Divina.  We shall draw on the teachings of Fr Thomas Keating and Cynthia Bourgeault as well as our inner responses.

The retreat is suitable for those who have established or are establishing the practice of Centering Prayer and have ideally attended an Introductory Workshop.
